Vietnamese Language Classes

Thang Long Vietnamese Language School provides Vietnamese language and cultural classes in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. Through these weekly classes, Vietnamese-American youths learn to speak, read, and write Vietnamese, as well as history, arts, music and literature. Most students range from age 7 to 18. All teachers are volunteers.

Time : Duration of Spring 2010 - Jan 23, 2010 to May 22, 2010. Every Saturday from 9:30 AM - 12:00 Noon

Location : First Vietnamese-American United Methodist Church
4701 Arlington Blvd.
Arlington, VA 22203

The church is located at the intersection of Arlington Blvd. (Route 50) and Henderson Road. Henderson Road is between Carlin Springs Road and S. George Mason Drive.

Fee: The new fee is $120.00 per student. This fee covers both Fall 2009 and Spring 2010 semesters. We do not accept new student in Spring.

Age Limit: Student must be at least 7 years old.

Note: Due to inadequate space, we will no longer have a special class for adults. However, adults are still welcome to take classes with children.

Registration: Please note that we will not accept students after the second week of school. Registration form will be accepted and processed on the first day of school, September 12, 2009. Please download the >registration form together with >the waiver form and complete them in advance.

Schedule (Tentative): 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM: classes in session
11:00 AM - 12:00 Noon: group activities
